Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide event staff?
Yes! CFCT provides one on-site staff member throughout your rental to answer questions and assist as needed. A technical consultant is required for all auditorium rentals to ensure proper setup and safety when using our lighting and sound systems — they will also operate the boards during your event. Additional technicians, ushers, and box office staff can be arranged for an added fee.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Either party may cancel the rental agreement without cause by providing written notice at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled event date.
Can we bring our own A/V equipment?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own A/V equipment and technicians. During your technical consultation, our team will discuss setup needs and compatibility to ensure a smooth experience.
What is parking like at the venue?
The Oster Regent Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Cedar Falls and does not have a dedicated parking lot. Free street parking is available nearby on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend allowing extra time for parking, especially on weekends or during downtown events.
What are the accessibility features at the Oster Regent?
- The front entrance to the building is accessible and is free from stairs or steps.
- The 1st floor of the performance hall is accessible and does not require use of stairs.
- The 2nd floor of the performance hall requires use of stairs to access seats. An elevator is located in the lobby for patrons to access the 2nd floor.
- The 3rd floor of the performance hall is accessible by elevator and does not require use of stairs.
- Stairs are required to access the balcony level of the hall and the stage/backstage.
