In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

Iowa City, IA-based alternative metal band NonGrata plays on the Oster Regent Theatre stage Saturday, May 16th. Openers include Jacob Lampman's Ego Death from Waterloo, IA and 4th & TEN, a rock/metal band from Independence, IA.

The suffragette's murder

February 5-14, 2027, TIMES VARY

It's 1857. Tenants of the Mayhew Boarding House on the Lower East Side are an odd bunch, but their involvement in the suffrage movement connects them. As they prepare to host an important gathering, they receive an unexpected visit from a constable. One of the tenants has been murdered! Hilarious hijinks ensue amidst the backdrop of a murder mystery.
