Witness Untold Stories!

INKWELL is a new play festival from Cedar Falls Community Theatre that shines the spotlight on the talent of Midwest playwrights. The festival accepts submissions of full-length or one act plays from playwrights currently living in and around Iowa.

An assembled panel has reviewed submissions to select one play to produce for two performances at the Oster Regent Theatre in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Volunteer actors will work alongside a production team to present the script May 17-18. The playwright will also receive a cash prize of $500.

The panel also selected two scripts to have presented as staged readings at the theater in the days leading up to the winning performance. $100 cash prize will be awarded to honorable mentions.

The primary goals of the festival are to discover and nurture local talent, enrich the cultural landscape of the Cedar Valley, and offer the community a unique theatrical experience.
